Marquee /DIY Paint Co All Clay Paint by Debi's Design Diary
from $17.64
Welcome to all-natural, no-VOCs paint by Debi's Design Diary. It contains only nine premium ingredients, most of which are pigment, clay, and chalk, resulting in a rich, velvety texture. Due to the high pigment load, the paint can be diluted to 1 part paint with 10 parts water without losing color vibrancy. You can paint wood, metal, plastic, canvas, and even fabric with this paint, and the fabric remains soft to the touch. I painted a velvet sofa with DIY Paint, and six years later, the color has not faded; the velvet remains soft and luxurious. To paint velvet, I did one part paint to 4 parts water, and it took three coats. It saved me from spending $100s on new fabric and upholstery tools to reupholster the sofa. Others use a 1:1 ratio of water to paint, and it works great!
The sofa in the picture was painted with Gypsy Green.
Tip: Move the paint with water. Use a continuous misting bottle and lightly mist your brush or the piece for the paint to move or blend.
Coverage:
8 oz (sample). Perfect for a small project like a chair or a small side table. Coverage is approximately 35 square feet.
16 oz (Pint). Usually more than enough to complete a good-sized piece of furniture, covers approximately 75 square feet.
32 oz (Quart). Covers approximately 150 square feet and will cover several pieces of furniture.
Instructions:
Clean and dry the object to be painted.
Remove the lid and stir. Sometimes you don't even need to stir DIY Paint.

Apply a second coat, if needed.
Allow the second coat to dry.
Wait 24 hours to let the paint cure, and seal the surface with a DIY Paint finishing product, such as clear wax, or Big Top, and watch the color come to life!
